Save on 2026 PHRC Housing Conference registration with Early Bird Rates

Early bird registration is open through January 14 for the 2026 PHRC Housing Conference. The conference will be held on March 18-19 at The Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center in State College, Pennsylvania, with two full days of educational panels, talks, exhibits and events. The annual PHRC Housing Conference brings together all sectors of the housing industry to highlight best practices, regulation and innovation.

The conference kicks off with keynote speaker Sarah Billington, UPS Foundation Professor, professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a senior fellow at the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University presenting "From Concept to Community: Design Strategies for Sustainable Affordable Housing" on Wednesday, March 18. 

Wednesday’s “Networking on the Exhibit Floor” event offers opportunities for attendees to network and enjoy exhibits from product manufacturers, suppliers and professional services.

Thursday features keynote speaker Georg Reichard, professor and chair of the School of Building Construction in the College of Design at Georgia Institute of Technology speaking on "The 7 Habits of Successful Builders of High-Performance Homes." 

PHRC Housing Conference presentations are by invited speakers, with a focus on providing practical information and updates on issues of interest to residential construction industry professionals. Up to 12 continuing education credits are available for this conference through the American Institute of Architects, the International Code Council, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, as well as for Pennsylvania engineers for their professional development hours and for landscape architecture clock hours. 

Additionally, the industry-focused 2026 PHRC Housing Conference is being held in conjunction with the research-focused Residential Building Design & Construction Conference (RBDCC), which is a biennial paper submission-based event.
