Public Comment & TAC Process for the 2021 I-Codes

The process of reviewing the 2021 International Codes for adoption in the Commonwealth officially starts on Saturday, November 12, 2022, with the opening of the public comment period on those sections of the code that are considered "modified sections" or "additional sections" as defined by the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act (Act 45 of 1999) and its amendments. In accordance with the Act, the public comment period will remain open for 120 days, closing on March 12, 2023.

In addition, applications for participation in the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) process will be taken starting Saturday, November 12, 2022, and will remain open for thirty days, closing on December 12, 2022.
