Looking for Online Resources? PHRC is here for you!

Date: 3/24/2020

Through all of these changes, our top priority is the health and safety of our team, their families, and our communities. The PHRC team wholeheartedly believes in the residential construction industry; one that is resourceful, resilient, and vital to the future of our region. If there is ever anything that the PHRC can do to support you through these ongoing challenges, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our staff via email.

With the PHRC team settled into our remote working setup for the foreseeable future, we figured it was time to share some of our plans for the coming weeks as we work diligently to support the residential construction industry.

With many homebuilders forced to close down physical locations due to government orders, now is the time to get engaged. Why not take this time to dive into some online resources to keep your mind fresh and to focus on some professional development? Over the coming weeks, the PHRC will be sharing a series of resources on a variety of platforms, including through our email newsletter and on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Our intent is simple: to arm you with the best of the best in online publications, news articles, resource pages, webinars, podcasts, and more. We don’t often provide this significant of a content deluge, but one advantage of our connected world is the ability to access timely, engaging, and beneficial content at low- to no-cost.

So what should you expect over the coming days and weeks?

  1. The PHRC team will be launching a brief online survey to allow you to tell us what you’re looking for. This will be sent out this week via our email newsletter. Sign up here if you do not already receive it.
  2. Resources will be shared regularly on our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn). If you don’t already follow the PHRC, please do so to keep up with the latest information.
  3. The team will be sharing some top picks related to our own areas of expertise in team emails. These emails will come out at least weekly.

Moving forward, if you run across a resource that you feel we should share with the PHRC family, please email it to Brian Wolfgang at bwolfgang@psu.edu. Note that we won’t be able to share everything but will do our best to pass along information that has a broad appeal/benefit.
