This webinar will provide a brief description of how the appraisal process works now and some projections of where it might be going. The key items that are looked at during the appraisal process will be addressed. Examples of both low-cost, high-return features and high-cost, low-return features in regards to an appraisal will be provided. “Green” building or programs like “Energy Star” are being demanded more and more by the consumer but the consumer might now always understand how these programs can affect the appraised value. This webinar will provide some tips that both the builder and consumer should keep in the back of their mind during the design phase to reduce the risk of any surprises when you get to the appraisal.
