Description

The ENERGY STAR for New Homes program started in 1995 as a way to improve the energy efficiency of homes. This webinar will share insight on how the ENERGY STAR for New Homes program is doing in Pennsylvania and how builders interested in this program can get involved.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand principles and goals behind the ENERGY STAR for New Homes program to enhance energy performance of residential buildings.
  2. Understand the contextual role of ENERGY STAR for New Homes among the various above-code programs with similar aims of enhanced energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
  3. Review the historical uptake and implementation of the ENERGY STAR for New Homes program in Pennsylvania.
  4. Explore ways to get involved in the program to improve residential energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
