  1. When does early bird registration expire? Early bird pricing ends on January 12, 2020.
  2. If I have a discount code for registration as a PHRC member, when do I enter this? During the online registration process through Cvent, you will be prompted to enter your discount code before final payment.
  3. Are there discounts for large groups of attendees? Discounts are available for groups of 6 or larger. Contact Tracy Dorman,, 814-865-2341, for more information.
  4. Will I receive a confirmation email after registering? Yes, you should receive an email confirming your registration after you have completed the process through Cvent.
  5. Can I modify my registration after I have received confirmation? Yes, contact Tracy Dorman,, 814-865-2341, for more information.
  6. Can I register on-site on March 4 and 5? Yes, you can register on site; however an additional $20 fee will be added to on site registrations.
  7. When is the online registration cutoff? Online registration will end on March 1, 2020. After this point, attendees must register on-site.
  8. Is food included in the registration fee? Yes, breakfast, breaks, and lunch are included in the registration fee.
  9. What is the cancellation policy? Unless otherwise noted, individual cancellation charges will be in effect as follows:
    • Greater than 15 days - full refund.
    • 15 days or less - no refund issued.

Conference Logistics

  1. Where do I check in upon arrival on the day of the conference? All conference attendees must check in at the PHRC Conference Week Registration Desk, located on the main level of The Penn Stater near the courtyard entrance. Signs will be posted throughout the facility directing you toward this desk.
  2. What time does registration open? Registration for conference sessions opens at 7:30am each day.
  3. What time do conference activities start? The conference sessions begin promptly at 8:30am each day.
  4. What time do conference educational activities end? Conference educational activities will be completed by 5:00pm each day. Please check the appropriate agenda to verify the schedule.
  5. What happens in the event of inclement weather? Registrants will be notified promptly of any cancellations or program changes. If a program is cancelled or postponed, registration fees will be refunded; however, the PHRC is not responsible for any other related costs, charges, or expenses.
  6. How will I be notified of any changes in the conference schedule? Attendees will be notified of changes via the email address provided during the registration process. Changes will also be posted to the PHRC website, Facebook, and Twitter.


  1. What types of continuing education are available? Typically, continuing education is available in the form of PA Department of Labor & Industry Contact Hours, PDH’s for PA engineers, AIA hours for architects, NARI CEU’s, and ICC contact hours.
  2. How and when will I receive my certificate for continuing education? Certificates for continuing education will be sent via email after the conference.
  3. How will I receive my continuing education certificates if I have to leave early or forget to pick them up? Attendees must be present for the full conference in order to receive continuing education certificates. For more information regarding certificates, contact Tracy Dorman,, 814-865-2341.
  4. Is there a block of hotel rooms reserved for attendees? Yes, rooms are available at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel at a discounted rate for conference attendees. When reserving a room through the Penn Stater, mention the room discount code: PHRC20A by February 2, 2020. More information on accommodations available here.

Other Events

  1. When and where is the Happy Hour on the Exhibit Floor? The Happy Hour on the Exhibit Floor will take place Wednesday, March 4 from 6:00-8:30pm. This fun event will take place at The Penn Stater. More information to come.
  2. How do I register for Happy Hour on the Exhibit Floor? Attendees will have the opportunity to register for Happy Hour on the Exhibit Floor during the online conference registration process through Cvent. The reception is included in two-day registrations, and for other registrations, the fee for attending is $50.
